I love the food here. It's been located here for several years, more than 30 years.
Top of the River Hill has been here for as long as I can remember. Heck it wouldn't surprise me if it was standing here when Kentucky was discovered. Regular country cooking at a decent price and a lot of friendly people.
Was very disappointed 9/8/2017.
In her arms, she stopped at the table where the couple had just sat down ( the way she greeted them I figured they were friends). I heard her ask them what they wanted. The guy said Catfish, she handed him one of the plates and said here ya go. Then asked the girl what she wanted and I guess she said catfish and she handed her the other plate. I didnt complain to Laura, I wasnt in the mood to discuss it because I was pissed. Maybe next time I'll tell her about it. Will I go back? Of course, i love the food.
Great BLT! The service here seemed really nice we had a great experience with the wait staff and the owners they were able to make special accommodations for groups and we all really enjoyed our lunch it made it feel like home
My wife and I had been patiently waiting for our Meal and being a small place I knew ours would be next. In the mean time a couple had sat down and their drink order was delivered. I saw a waitress coming with 2 orders of Catfish ( NOT OUR WAITRESS). With our order
Good food. Not the best, but they were nice people with good food. The desserts are cheap and delicious though.
